Usage:
The machine operating process is as follows: turn on the power supply, gas source and computer. Open files for the cut lens outline, or draw the cut lens outline directly in the CAD program. The cutting process will automatically be programmed, and the cutting parameters will be input into the computer for later recall. These are both done simultaneously.
The operator places the pending lens on the template, adjusts the position of the knife, and presses the start switch. The cutter will then operate in accordance with the program requirements. The knife wheel will automatically center during the cutting, and return to the original position when cutting is complete.
